2010 - Present: I focus on business development, streamlining operations and maintaining the entrepreneurial culture of Momentum. Co-Founder - Waterway Network, Inc.

2011 - 2013: I provided key insight on the redevelopment, design and the sale of The Lake St. Clair Network. I was responsible for managing customer relations, advertising, software enhancements and business-to-business marketing. The Lake St. Clair Network boasts over 1,169,253 total forum topics and 17,899 total members. In 2013 - The Lake St. Clair Network was acquired by Vertical Scope, an integrated multi-platform media company. Vertical Scope manages some of the worlds most popular community based websites including motorcycle.com, snowmobile.com, and personalwatercraft.com.

President - JamesMichael Solutions

2007-2010: As a soloprenuer - I wore many hats; from accounting, to design, development, sales and support. I positioned my first agency to serve as a support service for other local web agencies in need of additional design and development resources for new projects. Before switching the company's name to Momentum - we had partnered with a half dozen local agencies, alleviating their workload problems and making them look like rockstars.

SUMMARY

I have been passionate about learning ever since I could remember. Growing up I was known for taking everything apart, inventing new things... my favorite question was - "why?"

My claim-to-fame in elementary school was converting a gasoline edger engine to propane. Not long after, curiosity lead me to computers - I was fascinated by user interfaces, publishing on the internet and programming. I read through every whitepaper and technology tutorial I could get my hands on.

We were assigned an autobiography as our middle school class project. It was obvious that I knew what I wanted from a young age - in it I wrote, "I plan on pursuing a career that is based upon computers. I am interested in careers such as web design, computer programming, and graphic design."

Fast forward 10 years and a couple companies later - I am continuing to pursue my passion for technology as Founder & CEO of Momentum - A Website Design & Internet Marketing Agency in Southeast Michigan.

Founded in April of 2010 by myself and now COO - Adam Sgammotta, we created the business with a vision, "Be a recognized, global leader in cutting edge web technology and online marketing."

Today we are one of Michigan's leading website design and internet marketing agencies - working with over 200 businesses on maximizing their online presence and increasing their bottom line.

In 2013 we experienced over 200% growth and hired 6 new talented employees to help with our increasing demand.

I am a vocal, passionate leader with a "failure is not an option" mentality - though I still accept failure's lessons as any great entrepreneur should. I have an affinity for problem solving, collaboration and team building.

When not pursuing my dreams for world domination - you can find me enjoying a nice fire with my beautiful fiance, Alyssa and lucky black cat - Colee, or out casting a line in one of the many inland lakes of Oxford, MI.
